The deciding factor is that this original series is 24 episodes long. So it will be lengthy, high budget, well animated, beautifully drawn and voiced, and have a proper ending. It might end up better than Shiroi Suna no Aquatope, which had very similar strengths propelling it to greatness. I've never met an idol anime with this kind of budget I didn't like. It looks as good as Idolm@ster or Love Live!. They really pulled out all the stops.
When you compare Cue!'s length and budget to the two other voice actor themed great anime -- Sore ga Seiyuu! and Girlish Number, Cue should be the best by far. Since those other two shows are already ranked, how can Cue not be?
Plus it doesn't look like Isekai Kenkokuki will ever get an anime adaption so replacing it with an actual entry is necessary anyway. Between a ghost of a ghost and an actual anime with two episodes already aired, I think I'll go with Cue.
Meanwhile, Sabikui Bisco is dropped. It's just too weird, too chuunibyou, too violent and too depressing a setting for my tastes. I admit it's good looking and innovative, which a lot of teenagers might prefer, but at my age it's just a turnoff. I prefer the hope and beauty found in the likes of Cue! than the death and monstrosities of Bisco.
The original opening to Bleach, Asterisk, is sung by a boy so sadly it had to drop down to a 4-star rating. I replaced it with the opening to Kenichi, Catch your dream, which is properly sung by a girl.
I'm extremely disappointed with how the Cowboys lost to the 49ers yesterday. They were the better team but penalties killed them. So much for my home team. I guess now I'll cheer for Tampa Bay since Florida is the other state in this country that still believes in freedom. The Tennessee Titans used to be the Houston Oilers so I suppose it's legitimate to cheer for them too. A Titans-Buccaneers Super Bowl would be ideal.
