This volume is pretty much worthless. It's a collection of short stories set in the past -- before Yaichi and Ginko got together -- which makes all of them irrelevant because the fact is Yaichi got with Ginko, invalidating all the thoughts and feelings of the people who cared about Yaichi before then. Ai Yashajin looked beautiful in her white one-piece dress with a wide-brimmed white hat and her black fur Russian outfit with the square fur cap. At least those illustrations were productive. But so little of importance happened it's hard to even remember what I just read.
Mio, an irrelevant side character, flew away on a plane. I wouldn't have noticed whether she was here or gone anyway. And then there was a flirty sequence where Ginko and Yaichi were lovey-dovey. Eww. I hate Ginko and the Ginko-Yaichi pairing. The last thing I want to do is read about them flirting.
The author even admitted he had no inspiration for this volume because of the Coronavirus lockdown, which is why it's a collection of old short stories. I guess it's better than nothing but bleh. Onwards to the first volume I actually purchased, Ryuuou 14!
