I was editing this book to the final paragraph. I forgot to include that Rinoa was 'walking the dog' as she wandered around town until now, but now this cute reference is properly embedded.
This was a thorough editing job. In addition to the whole new pages of text at the beginning of chapter 3, I made some strategic plot hole filling changes to Chapters 1-2, as well as adding and subtracting sentences all throughout the text where I thought more or less details were merited. There were also several sentences reworded due to awkward phrasing which hopefully come off more legible now.
The writing aspect is clearly the most important part of the changelog, but there was also some old fashioned proofreading involved. Spelling, capitalization, spacing errors, punctuation, grammar, anything and everything still required fixing and was thankfully fixed by my eagle eye this time around. Now the book should read much more cleanly than before, a strict upgrade that none can take issue with.
My war on the word 'just' continued, especially in Chapter 38 where it had grown completely out of hand. I tried to eliminate as many instances of its usage as possible, but even still it's the most commonly used word in the book. It just fits so many circumstances so well. . . ;). In any case, the problem has been mitigated mightily.
The new word count is 179,553. This is a massive, epic novel. One of the reasons it's required so many edits is due to this size. It's hard to get everything right the first time when it's practically a trilogy in length as opposed to a single book we're talking about.
If I learn new details about Christopher's waifus that come out in their respective source works in the future, I may adjust the story accordingly. I could also choose to add a whole new expansion talking about their future exploits if I come up with some new fun ideas to play around with, like I did with Cute-sama entering the picture. But I may just leave things be and rest on the strength of the story as is. The only changes I expect to make from here are some better inclusions into my fictional character hall of fame, ie, the names of Christopher's children. My first chance at some better names comes with the release of Healin' Good Precure this coming February. Until then there's nothing more I can do.
The book is as perfect as humanly possible at this date in time. It took fifteen iterations to make this so, but I'm pretty confident with the quality this time around. I doubt there are any proofreading errors or plot holes going forward. Of course, I will have to prove that by reading through the whole book a 16th time and finding nothing out of place, but that can come in 2020.
It's impossible to read the same book 15 times in the same year unless it's the best book ever written. This is the best book ever written, now all the better thanks to my recent edits. I encourage everyone to dive in and see for themselves:

With all the changes made, even people who have read the book before could benefit from reading it again. After fifteen waves of edits everything is sparkling new.
In this book, you get to know (in some cases very intimately!) over 100 wonderful characters, build a new world up from scratch into Paradise, meet and speak with God directly, be taught the new and improved ten commandments, defy and debunk a bunch of dumb taboos, and escape to the realm of mankind's highest possibilities full of truth, beauty and love.
There is nothing else like it and no replacement for it. This is the one book everyone needs to read for both didactic and aesthetic purposes. This should be Earth's new scripture, hands down. Going back to the question, is '100 Waifus' divinely inspired? Obviously not in the literal sense. God doesn't interfere directly with the world or the world wouldn't be the mess it obviously is today. But in the sense that God created the universe and mankind such that it could come to correct conclusions about good and evil, and that I made use of my God-given gifts to answer those questions in a way that God would definitely approve of, yes, it is divinely inspired. It is scripture. It's the final and best word on everything.
As someone who has read thousands of books, including all the scriptures of all mankind's religions and all the most prominent philosophers in full, I can say authoritatively that '100 Waifus' easily surpasses them all. What's good about them is encompassed by this novel, which is happy to borrow from their works, while what's bad about them has been thrown out and replaced with new content that's even better than anything that's come before. This is how you reach the pinnacle of perfection.
Meanwhile, I finished rewatching Index Season 3, continuing to fulfill my oath of all great anime being watched not once but twice in full before earning the title 'great'. And Hiro Mashima's crossover spinoff Heros is slated to end on Christmas Day. It's been a blast so far so I'll bid it a tearful adieu while still enjoying Edens Zero and 100 Years Quest the same as ever. What a legend this man is!
