Out of an abundance of caution and a drive for consistency, I went ahead and added the last names of real life composers as middle names for all children in 100 Waifus. If, for some God forsaken reason, you can't identify Bjork or Enya by their first names alone, you now have the added data point of their last names to realize exactly who I'm talking about. All 51 children in the book named after composers have a first, middle, and last name -- and some of them even have nicknames just to clear up any possible remaining misunderstanding!
In addition, due to a bonkers oversight, I provided the last names that always should have been there for Marle and KOS-MOS, somehow overlooked as missing the first 13 times around. Now everyone should have a last name, and all composer related children should have middle names that correspond to the last names of said composers. All holes filled. Unless I somehow missed some more.
I also corrected some other mistakes, like using 'woman' singular when it should have been 'women' plural, awkward phrasing, additional details to clarify which name refers to which fictional character, etc. This 14th editing process has been valuable across all fronts.
All this and I'm still only halfway through the book. Well, I've been skipping ahead and editing forward a lot, so I expect most of the edits to be complete by now, but we'll just have to wait and see.
On the Dracu Riot front, I'm now on Miu's route. Just hers and one other mystery girl's route to go. I should have plenty of time to re-read 100 Waifus and read Dracu Riot for the first time, since the next valuable artistic franchise release isn't until mid-November. The drought resumes.
At least at the end of the drought we get to see the endings to Btooom! Two different endings make for double the fun.
