Another game no one cares about, that just so happens to have the 3rd and 4th best composers in the world collaborating together to provide the music. Another absolute masterpiece -- musically speaking.
This time Hitoshi Sakimoto takes the limelight with 18 hall of fame songs, with Yasunori Mitsuda coming in a respectable second with 8. It's great for Hitoshi, but still not enough to catch up with Yasunori. And considering Soul Sacrifice and Shadow Hearts are coming up next, where Yasunori will get the chance to further extend his lead, Hitoshi's comeback just isn't going to happen.
Maybe I should look up some more games Hitoshi Sakimoto composed for to give him more of a chance? hmmm. . .
Vagrant Story, Stella Deus, Radiant Silvergun and Dragon's Crown all look promising. Honestly, Hitoshi Sakimoto has composed so many games it feels like I could never wade through them all, but these games at least have a strong reputation for excellence.
But for now I need to concentrate on the Yasunori side of things. Next up, Soul Sacrifice.
