The first of my new soundtracks, ASH, has been sussed. Hitoshi Sakimoto is responsible for 12 new songs in my hall of fame, while his friend and partner Masaharu Iwata is responsible for 13 new songs. The game isn't even available in English and yet it had this much good music. What a world we live in.
These two also collaborated in Stella Deus. Hitoshi Sakimoto is responsible for 12 new songs in my hall of fame, while his friend and partner Masaharu Iwata is responsible for 23 new songs.
Virtually all the songs on the soundtrack made it into my hall of fame, but it was a very peaceful soundtrack, nothing really epic or breathtaking happened either. Stella Deus certainly steered a careful course.
This brings Masaharu Iwata's total up to 122, all the way up to #5 in my eminent composers list. Hitoshi Sakimoto's total is only going to keep growing from here though. The remaining three games Hitoshi Sakimoto composed on his own.
