Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Green-lit:

The final episode of Shingeki (Attack on Titan) aired today, so it was with relief that a new season was announced, to arrive sometime in 2018.  The anime is up to chapter 51 of the manga, which is less than halfway through.  Unless season three is enormously long or the story is enormously abridged, there's no way it can catch up with the manga, in which case we'll also need a season four or five.

But a season three is a good start.  A journey of a thousand green lit seasons starts with one.

Meanwhile, I finished rewatching Dimension W.  Part of what makes a great anime series is that I'm willing to not only watch it in full, but also rewatch it in full.  Now even Dimension W, which is rated at the lowly level of 189th, has fulfilled that condition.  If I'm willing to rewatch the 189th best series, that gives you a little bit of confidence that everything ranked higher than Dimension W must be worthwhile too.

I finished Macross 7 Encore, and just have to complete Dynamite before this series is fully rewatched as well.

Yasunori Mitsuda is the lead composer for the new Xenoblade 2 X, which means it should be a worthy addition to my video game music playlist once it's released.
