The ever reliable fansubber Ron has released subbed Vivid blu-ray just days after the blu-ray raws came out in Japan. Fantastic job. It took years for the original blu-ray to just come out, but once it came out, America sure did its part by getting the fansubbed version out in a week. As a result, the wait for this show's blu-rays is actually shorter than many others still are. Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls, for instance, still has no subbed blu-ray release. Nor does Sailor Moon Crystal.
Now's your chance to rewatch Vivid in its highest quality, most definitive form. (And yes, lots of minor edits were made.) I actually gave up on the bd ever being released and watched Vivid just a few months ago, so I'll wait a bit before rewatching them in blu-ray again, but for those who were patient enough to wait for the bd, this is the right time, and for those foolish enough to have never watched the show this is certainly the time to jump in.
