3. Macross Plus ovas (start) + Macross 7 tv (start)
4. Yu Yu Hakusho (end)
Ranma 1/2 is the best series that was made in the past and hasn't received a remake in the future. As a result, it's probably going to be in the top spot regularly moving backwards. There really isn't much more to talk about beyond Ranma 1/2 once you get this far back in time.
