Sailor Scouts Assemble!:

I've added two more voices to my quality seiyuu list.  These two were no-brainers, as they have long and distinguished careers with plenty of famous roles.  However, what puts them over the top is their roles in the new Sailor Moon Crystal.  What with all the other sailor scouts being on my list, it seemed silly to leave these two out of the fun.

Playing Sailor Mercury is Hisako Kanemoto, also known for her roles as Yayoi Kise/Cure Peace in Pretty Cure, and Ika Musume in Squid Girl.  One of my personal favorite roles she's played is Kanata Sorami from Sora no Woto.  She's also the adorable Katyusha in Girls und Panzer.

Meanwhile, playing Sailor Venus is Shizuka Itou, also known for her roles in just about every good anime ever made.  Wilhelmina in Shana, Hinagiku in Hayate, Hisa Takei in Saki, Rei in Maria-sama ga Miteru and Kaori Kanzaki in Index is just the start of her list of accomplishments.

I've said before that Sailor Moon Crystal is far and away better than the original, and I'll say it again.  The voice acting is the best imaginable, and I can reinforce that point by adding these two girls to my list, the only two remaining Sailor Scouts who weren't already on my list.  The art is impeccable, just like the original manga style.  The music is by the virtuoso who composes for Naruto, Fairy Tail, and Pretty Cure.  The plot is, of course, one of the most famous works in all anime/manga history.  Sailor Moon has no flaws, except that it's not done yet and it will probably never be fully adapted, because for some reason the show is unpopular despite having top talent in every field faithfully adapting the most beloved manga of perhaps all time.  This just goes to show how fickle mankind is.  It's just pure pearls before swine.  These voice actors are wasted on the audience that doesn't appreciate them.  To hell with anyone who dislikes Sailor Moon Crystal.  Or Sword Art Online for that matter while we're at it.  To hell with all of them.
