Many of these characters have been in my wonderful hall of fame before, but were kicked out for the sake of quality control. But now I'm feeling more generous and think these characters are perfectly well qualified. They're within the margin of error. There's no reason to be so mean that girls like Min don't make it.
Speaking of little girls, it's tragic that around 200 of them were killed in a school in Iran by a United States missile strike. But if you look into it, Iran is more to blame than we are. For some reason they took what used to be part of their military naval base and transitioned it into a school, using the exact same building as before. We struck it thinking it was still part of their naval base, apparently because we weren't double checking our target list (perhaps because AI was telling us what to target). At that point, though, it's almost like Iran was setting a trap for us and using little girls as human sacrifices, live bait. It's inexcusable to use human shields like that, and is codified as against the laws of war. That's the real war crime here.
America has nothing against the little girls of Iran. In fact we're fighting this war for them. We are trying to save little Iranian girls from the soul-crushing patriarchal theocracy that awaits them when they grow up and are stuck in eternal garbage bags. It's obvious who hates girls here, who wants them killed, and who is willing to use their deaths for propaganda purposes.
Another war crime is Iran's closing of the strait of Hormuz. Oil and natural gas are essential to life -- they produce fertilizer and transport food to markets. When you strain that supply worldwide, there is bound to be famine in the future. We're not talking a minor change in supply here, this is at least 1/4 of the entire world's oil supply. More directly, the blockade is causing a food shortage in the Gulf states, because they require the constant import of food through that very strait of Hormuz due to living in barren deserts. This is exactly what I was complaining about in the Gaza Strip -- a total blockade that blocks out all essential ingredients to life isn't legitimate warfare, it's genocide targeting civilians -- and the weakest of civilians at that, yet again little girls. Nothing changes now that Muslims are doing the genocide instead of suffering the genocide. I condemn genocidal war crimes in all cases. This time it's the Muslims doing it, the Iranians doing it, not Israel, and so I condemn Iran. Of course, Israel has meanwhile resumed its blockade of the Gaza Strip, so I condemn their attempted genocide too. I condemn all blockades! What the hell is wrong with these people? Starvation is not a means of warfare, not since the 12th century or whatever. Fight soldiers, not children!
I said previously that interdicting shipping is an act of war and has been recognized as such for millennia. Well, Iran is interdicting the shipping of the entire world. The entire world should now rightfully declare war on Iran. It's totally unacceptable when America or Europe seizes ships on the high seas, and it's totally unacceptable when Iran sinks or threatens to sink ships in the strait of Hormuz. Everyone needs to stop attacking civilians and merchants across the board. These people are providing the world essential life-saving ingredients. Interdicting merchants is mass murder. Just because you can't directly see the causal link between the lost shipping and the people dying for lack of energy/food/shelter/clothing/medicine/water doesn't make the link go away. There are people depending on these goods. That's why we cross the sea to give it to them in the first place. That's why they're willing to pay money for these goods in the first place. There's no such thing as an innocent or harmless trade disruption. Even if a submarine sank a tanker carrying nothing but luxury diamonds to a gathering of rich people on a private island, that's still mass murder -- because now there's fewer marriages which leads to fewer children in the future. The only ship you're allowed to interdict in war is a ship carrying weapons. That's the only legitimate target for interdiction. Everything else is a war crime and unforgivable.
I shouldn't have to be explaining this to people. This was all well known for centuries, until it was suddenly forgotten by Israel vis-a-vis the Gaza Strip. And now the whole world is doing it, everywhere, all at once. This is a complete disaster and billions will suffer for it. Everyone needs to cut it out now.
Closing the strait of Hormuz is a weapon of mass destruction targeting civilians. Nuclear weapons in response is not an escalation, in fact more people will die from the closed strait remaining closed than nuking Iran would kill. At this point nukes would be de-escalatory.
