A condensed version of One Piece is now available from stem to stern:

Thanks to One Pace releasing Wano episode 42, we now have a complete One Piece anime with no filler from the very beginning to the most recent Egghead arc.  It looked like this would never happen, One Pace had fallen so far behind, but thanks to the anonymous donor who made Onigashima Paced while One Pace was working on the earlier Wano eps, everything connects.

People can now watch One Pace all the way to 2/3 of the Skypiea arc, switch over to One Piece Kai for the remainder of Skypiea (for now, until One Pace finishes the job), then go back to One Pace all the way to Onigashima, watch Onigashima Paced, then go back to One Pace for the most recent Egghead eps.  Currently One Pace isn't far behind the normal release of Egghead so you can do nothing but watch condensed One Piece from beginning to end without worry.

The #2 anime is now actually animated.  The filler version of One Piece is now up to episode 1116, but this condensed version is only 584 episodes long, almost half as long.  Condensing a story to half its length while not skipping a single moment of the manga, that's a lifesaver.  That's huge.  That's the difference from an unwatchably dull series to a razor sharp thrill ride.

The reason One Piece is the #2 anime is entirely due to these fan editors.  Without the edits it's hard to say what One Piece would rank.  It's almost impossible to watch the normal version.  These fans' hard work have literally created a masterpiece that is shaping the world.  That's how important One Piece is, and that's how important their work on pacing One Piece is.

Thanks to fans like these, there is now a complete set of top ten series all condensed to fit their manga forms -- One Piece, Naruto, Bleach and Dragon Ball have all been fully condensed into their ideal forms.  All four series would be garbage without these editors.  They've saved anime with their hard work.  A huge portion of the best anime ever made, over 12%, is thanks entirely to fan editors.  As a recipient of this blessing and speaking for the world and the future who will likewise benefit, thank you so much.

Meanwhile, a new Haruhi Suzumiya novel is releasing in Japan this November.  It's good to see this great franchise continue.  Maybe someday it will actually reach a conclusion.

This would be the perfect time to rewatch One Piece from the beginning, but I'm still trying to rewatch all of Pretty Cure, so it will have to wait.  Plus I'm still rewatching Bleach Kai and a little busy with WoW at the moment. . .
