Changes from the '100 Waifus' fictional character hall of fame:

As planned, I've created a new and improved fictional character hall of fame and turned it into a permapost on the sidebar.  Now I can update it without editing '100 Waifus' any further.  This fictional character hall of fame doesn't have to take into account arbitrary rules like a 1112 character limit, a strict balance of 405 boys to 707 girls, or the inclusion of random children or husbands of waifus.  This is a strictly merit based list where anything goes so long as you're great.  It also allows my own works to compete alongside everybody else's.  In the long run this hall of fame will be much better than the one in '100 Waifus,' while the one in '100 Waifus' will continue to serve its role as a felicitator of the plot.  Both are supreme in their own function.

At least to start with, though, the total tally of named characters remains exactly the same, at 1,112.  This is because there were as many annoying names I wanted to remove as good names I wanted to add to the tally.

The removed names were the people who never really belonged, merit wise, but had some plot purpose in '100 Waifus' and thus had to stay:  Yuiko, Mio (from Little Busters!), Kengo, Masato, Ichiyo, Mion, Heracles, Leonard, Salad, Ceodore, Hubert, Teepo, Kazui, August, Eita, Yuuki (from Koichoco), Kaya (from Kud Wafter), Sakura (from Xenosaga), Alicia (from Nanoha) and Mizal.

The added names from famous works were Lurie from Shikkakumon, Mai from Fatal Fury, Hana and Setsuna from Precure, Priestess from Goblin Slayer, Mist from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn/Path of Radiance, Indiana from Indiana Jones and Shinku from Irotoridori no Sekai.

The added names from my works, which should be famous because they're just as good as all these other famous franchises, are Christopher from 100 Waifus, Roland and Lucinda from The Greatest Vision, Kip and Autumn from Changeling, Jin and Harukaze from Sellsword, and Masanori, Isao, Saki, Eri and Yume from Dead Enders.  (Shiori, Rei, Kotone, Chiharu and Aiko from Dead Enders were already mentioned in '100 Waifus.')

As you can see, Dead Enders as a franchise can compete with anybody out there.  Actually, since Changeling is a story within the story of Dead Enders, you could say Dead Enders has 12 wonderful fictional characters, which would put it at 16th place in all of fiction.  Not only does everyone need to read the completed '100 Waifus,' they need to take the suggestion in '100 Waifus' to read the Dead Enders trilogy as well.  It's easily as good as Dragon Ball.

Henceforth this new permapost will continue to branch off from its roots and achieve new heights, but this is a good start.
