Great news! Star Ocean is getting a new installment for the PS5. Unfortunately I don't own a PS5 but someday I will and then I'll enjoy the new Star Ocean like I have all the previous ones.
The Switch is also getting an intriguing new game, Triangle Strategy, which is supposed to play and look a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics, probably the best game ever made. I do own a Switch so I can actually play Triangle Strategy.
I started reading Ayakashi Triangle before I finished To Love ru Darkness, I was curious to see how good it was and the answer is 'pretty good.' That's the problem, isn't it. Kentaro Yabuki is an incredible artist but I've never liked his actual storytelling ability. To Love ru was amazing because someone else was the writer and Kentaro only drew. Now we're back to mediocre fare again because Kentaro is going it alone.
Well, I might grow to like it more over time, I'm only on chapter 11 so far. Or I might grow to dislike it over time. >.<.
The important thing is I can listen to my music collection while reading Ayakashi Triangle. That's gotten the number of songs still in need of passing the 100-listen threshold down to 396.
I'd like to finish this music mission as soon as possible, so something that entertains me without making noise (a light novel or a manga) is my only option. Because SAO's latest volume release was delayed all that's left is manga. Ayakashi Triangle is the only way to get me through this last spurt, so good or not, I have to keep reading!
Meanwhile, I retooled the Noriko and Suzu names in '100 Waifus' to refer to Noriko from Gunbuster and Suzu from In This Corner of the World instead of the Noriko from Maria-sama ga Miteru and the Suzu from Tales of Phantasia. Maria-sama and Tales already have plenty of representatives but this would only be the first for Gunbuster and Corner. Since I want to include all great anime in my fictional character hall of fame this was an easy trade.
