This series never had good art, animation, or plot, but I kind of liked the main character and his try-hard get-along modest ways. Unfortunately, even that fell apart on the third episode when a girl he knew quite well from the past moved in with him, proposed a double bed when shopping for furniture, kept hugging him and said "I'd do anything for you," and he kept densely not getting it. No one that dense should exist. To this day he's still insisting they're good friends to the community.
Assuming he does understand her feelings but is intentionally ignoring them that's also unacceptable. A man should be honest, forthright, and direct. If he doesn't like her attention he should tell her so, reject her to her face, and get her to stop coming on to him. If he does like her he should tell her that and they should move on to the next stage of their lives, marriage and children. What is he waiting for? She'll only get uglier and less fertile as each day passes.
Since the protagonist was the only thing going for this series and I can't countenance his decisions the only thing to do is stop watching. The fall season is shrinking quickly and it will probably shrink some more before it's done. For now at least it looks like this:
