Two new songs join my music hall of fame, two ending themes from Rurouni Kenshin. The first is by T.M. Revolution and the second by Bonnie Pink, both rather famous names in otaku circles. It's odd that I hadn't included them until now, they're very catchy, very famous tunes. I of course owned them, I just hadn't honored them until now. Rewatching Rurouni Kenshin reminded me how good these songs were, a trend that's been happening a lot lately -- when I rewatched The World God Only Knows I added more Kanon songs, when I rewatched Macross Frontier I added a Sheryl Nome song, when I rewatched Love Live! Nijigasaki I added 5 Nijigasaki songs, etc.
Back up to 5478.
I also rewatched Fate/Heaven's Feel Spring Song. It still didn't make any sense, but it was still beautiful. Sakura standing in front of the cherry blossom glade was incredible. Illya lolling around the house was great. Rider using her mystic eyes and summoning her pegasus was epic. The best thing to do when watching this movie is to turn off your head and let your senses take the reins.
A 'full clear' is pretty close now. I have to rewatch Non Non Biyori Nonstop, the Shirobako movie, a few episodes of Tropical Rouge Precure, Boku no Hero Academia S5 and Edens Zero and I'll be done. I'll have actually rewatched everything in my great anime rankings. (For a brief moment, and then new stuff will come out and I'll fall behind again. But it will be the first time ever I actually fulfilled my vow!)
