Hataraku Maou-sama! S2 anime greenlit:

Wow, it's been a long time coming.  8 years since the first season aired.  What do they plan to do with this season -- simply carry on from where they left off and adapt a few more volumes out of 20?  Then end again as futilely as before?  Or perhaps they'll skip ahead and adapt the last few volumes so that we can actually see the ending and leave out the entire middle?  Or maybe the whole thing will be filler?

This anime is one of my favorites and it was on my wishlist that they'd adapt more, but I can't see anything good coming from this plan.  Unless you're willing to cover the whole thing won't it still end up a mess?  Obviously one extra season won't make much difference, you would need five extra seasons or so.  But I suppose every little bit of good content helps even if it is only a small portion of the whole.  All we can do is wait and see what they plan to do and how it works out from here.  It's good news, but Higurashi Gou and Yashahime were also good news until they turned out to not be anything special.  You can't take anything on faith anymore.

Now that something has been announced for Hataraku it could no longer stay on my wishlist -- the wish has been granted -- so I replaced it with a hopeless desire for an Aiyoku no Eustia anime adaption.  There's no way I'll have to edit that wish due to new announcements.  Well, once I get to read the visual novel my need for an Aiyoku anime will go down so I might take it off my wishlist soon enough too.

I edited '100 Waifus' to include Nadeko's new maximum age of 15 as seen in the Nademonogatari volume.  Accuracy, even in the little things, is my policy.

The basketball conference tournaments have already begun.  Let the good times bounce, as it were.
