Of course, only as far as the translator has translated. This was book 1 of what I believe should be 4, so we're only 1/4 of the way through. It was tough reading this volume because nothing happened from beginning to end. Even at the end they were just repeating themselves, "Where's Gyousou? Why hasn't he saved Tai yet? Blah blah." I seriously can't even tell why this book was written. They could have skipped the entire content and waited until they actually found Gyousou or actually started a rebellion against Asen or something. Instead all they did all book was whine.
I suppose this is all about setting the 'mood.' Times are tough. The mood needed an entire volume to relate that single sentence. Okay. I guess that's high literature for ya.
I'll be looking forward to future volumes where our heroes actually do something instead of just whine about how hard it is to do anything. But who knows when the next volume will be translated, or if it ever will be.
There are some more books slated for February release, but for now I can concentrate on Sufficiently Advanced Magic, another book I can't say much good about, but at least it's long enough to occupy endless hours. . .
