SAO Alicization Rewatched:

As much as possible, at least.  Episodes 10-12 of War of Underworld still aren't out in [mtbb] blu-ray, the only decent fansub release of the series.  So for now my rewatch stops here.  In addition, the second cour of War of Underworld, delayed by covid-19, isn't even out yet, so it's kinda difficult to have already rewatched it.  For now my Alicization stops here.

I hope the second cour at least comes out in July, I'm tired of waiting for this series.  Alicization was written by the author before SAO even came to prominence, the anime could have been made in 2012, if the producers had only desired.  Here we are eight years later still waiting for the ending.

But with Moon Cradle and Unital Ring still not animated, even the next cour is only a drop in the ocean of what's needed.  Until we see the true ending of SAO I'll never be content.  And unless they announce a new season after this one finally gets finished, there's no way SAO can stay the #1 anime of all time.  Great stories need endings, not cliffhangers.  Nor can Fairy Tail be #1, since it lacks 100 Years Quest, the true ending to the series.  Which would leave only Naruto, even though with the stupid Bolt filler it hasn't technically ended either.  What a mess.

Kimetsu no Yaiba has an official ending in the manga, but I can't even finish rewatching the anime because the last few episodes still haven't been released in blu-ray yet.  They keep delaying the release of the sequel movie, and no announcements for additional seasons have been made beyond that, so the anime is worthless here too.

But at least Kimetsu no Yaiba came out recently.  What's the excuse for Seikai no Monshou?  The blu-ray came out last year, the raw has been available in blu-ray for half a year now at nyaa.si, but not a single fansub group has bothered to just cut the subtitles from the dvd version and paste them into the new beautiful blu-ray release.

Perhaps even worse is Da Capo.  One of the most classic and beloved anime of all time, featuring the most attractive girls of all time, out in blu-ray in Japan for eons, never released in blu-ray here.  Even though such perfect visuals are precisely the sort of series that benefit most from blu-ray.

I'm happy for Inuyasha, it was very deserving of its blu-ray release.  But come on.  SAO, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Seikai no Monshou, Bleach and Da Capo still aren't done?  These aren't fringe, cult series.  These are all anime royalty, usually in people's top ten all time lists.  What is going on?

I find myself liking young Alice much more than Knight Alice, and thus liking Eugeo who likes young Alice much more than Kirito who inexplicably likes Knight Alice.  Eugeo, who broke the taboo index with his own will in order to protect the innocent young girl in front of him, unlike the innocent young Alice who he tried but failed to protect, is a true hero.  Kirito is still basically just playing a game, with no pressure and no stakes, all season long.  Eugeo sacrificed his life, and his chance to save Alice by restoring her memories, for the sake of his friend.  Eugeo fought harder and for the better cause.  The first half of Alicization is definitely bittersweet -- the two best characters featured (young Alice and Eugeo) both die together, and then even Kirito is turned into a braindead zombie.  Hardly a victory.

War of Underworld is a little weak simply because it focuses so much time on minor side characters.  When a series gets really long it inevitably follows this route, because everything that can be said about the main characters has already long ago happened.  Nevertheless, Renly's story is really moving, so I'll forgive it.

Once the second half of War of Underworld is released, things will take a more optimistic turn.  Having read the books, I'm looking forward to Kirito's recovery.  Even so, Alicization resolves nothing.  Kirito still hasn't graduated from high school, gotten a job, or married Asuna.  All the big moments in his life haven't been resolved.  I want things to reach a definitive happy ending -- no more laughing coffin murderers springing out of the weeds.  Everything safe and secured.  I have a sinking feeling that even Unital Ring doesn't do this, though the books haven't been translated yet so who knows.  But that's what it would take to end this series on the same high note it started on.

I suppose next on my rewatch list is Inuyasha, since it went through the trouble of being released in blu-ray for the first time and all.  I've already watched this series umpteen times but there's no point downloading the blu-ray version if I'm not going to watch it again.  May as well be now.

My other option is Chihayafuru season 3 but it aired so recently that wouldn't be much fun.  Honzuki no Gekokujou's second cour hasn't even finished airing yet so Honzuki would be even crazier.

Andrew Anglin has made two specific predictions with specific dates that should shatter his credibility for good once they don't happen.  First, he predicts we'll be at war with China sometime this year.  Second, he predicts some sort of dystopian police state martial law dictatorship will be imposed on America, also this year.  Both of these predictions are of course ludicrous, but he's repeated them time and time again for months and keeps vowing he believes this stuff in all earnesty.  There's also supposed to be a mother of all economic collapses, with food shortages and roving gangs of Mad Max lawlessness, etc.  I'm not sure how that fits in to his martial law police state but I'm sure it all makes sense in his head.  Supposedly that's about to happen too.  Plus these are also supposed to be the End Times of the Christian Bible, something he keeps swearing he believes in though I don't believe for a second he actually believes.  That's a lot of credibility testing predictions he's made.  If any one of them isn't true, people should stop listening to his clearly discredited opinions.  If all of them don't happen he should be dismissed as the crackpot madman/charlatan (pick your interpretation) he is.

Recently Anglin had a good article responding to Tucker Carlson's great monologue proving there is no police brutality or hunting of black unarmed men in America, the statistics don't back that up, there simply aren't enough unjust killings in a country of 325 million to lend credence to the liberal accusation.  He said the fact that the media can induce Americans into a frenzy of rioting and penance for this made up sin of police brutality/systemic racism proves democracy is untenable.  How can we rely on the judgment of the masses when they can be tricked into believing such ludicrous things and act accordingly?  If they're being fooled about something so well documented and proven to be false, then what about every other issue they're voting on?  What are the odds they're right about anything?

Of course Anglin is right, but there's no need to go to Andrew Anglin's website for insights like these.  I was saying this years ago in my Democracy permapost as well as my Reasoned Debate Doesn't Lead to Truth permapost.  You can get the same incisive analysis here without the crazy apocalypse nonsense.  Furthermore, if Anglin actually believed that the masses were too easily fooled to be trusted with the vote, he would renounce his strange respect for freedom of speech as well.  If he were consistent and logical, he would admit that speech must be controlled so that the easily fooled masses aren't led astray into all manner of heresies.  The only possible justification for freedom of speech is the belief that the masses are wise enough to prefer the truth over lies when all options are presented before them, so giving people maximal leeway to hear the truth is always the best policy.  But he's already stated that beyond all doubt the masses are stupid and will never believe the truth but will always be fooled by one lie or another.  That's why they shouldn't be allowed to vote.  And, it also follows, that's why they should never be allowed to suss out truth from lies themselves.  They suck at it.  They can't do it.  It must be done by a wiser authority that filters the media that reaches them in the first place, because they can't possibly filter it wisely themselves.  He believes this when arguing against democracy, but hypocritically turns around and believes the opposite when arguing for free speech.  You can't have it both ways.  I am consistent, he isn't.  Is it because he's worried about getting censored off the internet so has to take up an obviously hypocritical stance?  Or is he just so stupid himself he can't see the contradiction in his thinking?  Who knows.  The point is by his own logic I'm the better thinker and the better website than him.

At this point I'd rather join Tucker Carlson's new country, or Ann Coulter's or Steve Sailer's, than the supposed leader of the far right, Andrew Anglin's.  There is a huge void where Neo-Nazi thinking should be.  Milkwater anti-racists like these shouldn't be the preferable far-right editorialists.  But when you devolve into religious nuttery and crackpot conspiracy theorizing, even anti-racism starts to look good.  Gregory Hood over at Amren is a little better, calling for secession and a future for the white race concentrated on advancing the frontiers of art and science, but there isn't enough hatred or fire in his heart to do what is necessary to actually get there.  There is a way to be a proper Nazi race warrior and not insane.  Non-Christian, grounded in facts and logic, scientific, and desirous of a technological utopia led by enlightened philosopher-kings.  A country like that could still be carved out at any moment, one that caters to the best of human nature by preserving the family as the fundamental unit of society, but it can't happen so long as 'diversity, inclusion, and human rights' are respected, nor can it happen while pied pipers like Andrew Anglin keep diverting our energy and momentum into ridiculous frenzies and panics like Charlottesville and whatever's going on in his head right now.

Just think what millions of people who endorsed and followed my Ten Commandments (as detailed in '100 Waifus' chapter 44) could do, even if they gathered in Alaska, Greenland, Antarctica, the Pacific Ocean or Mars.  Andrew Anglin has millions of readers and it amounts to nothing.  He gives unrealistic, self-destructive commands, when he gives any, and the rest of the time he just wastes our time while demanding endless donations that go to support -- what?  What has he built in all this time?  All he's done is get a bunch of innocent (though foolish for believing in him) people thrown in jail.  In all my years of service to the cause I've never asked for anything in return, because it isn't about money, it's about what kind of future we want for our children and grandchildren.

If Andrew Anglin truly believed in his cause, he'd shut down his website and tell all his followers to read and follow my advice instead.  Then, overnight, Nazis would have their own country and their own future free of all the liberal mistakes that have doomed this world.  We would have our own bright future to look forward to instead of the Abyss we're all staring into and all news stories point towards daily.  The biggest impediment to Nazis isn't Jews or even liberals, it's Andrew Anglin himself.

The free market chose Anglin, the masses preferred reading him over me, but both Anglin and I agree that the masses are too stupid to make any decisions, and wise people should decide things for them.  So bragging about popularity makes no sense.  From his just asserted viewpoint, being popular is a sign of total failure, it must mean he's not telling the truth anymore, because the people never flock to the truth.  My very unpopularity is a sure sign that I'm where people should really be headed.  If Anglin styles himself a wise leader of men, he should make the decision for them to endorse me and close himself down.  Isn't that how a non-democratic system would work?  Stop letting the 'people' decide which neo-nazi is heard -- the 'elect' should be deciding these things among themselves.  So how about this.  If Anglin's predictions don't come true, how about he admit he's not the wise leader people should be following and sign over his readership to me, someone whose predictions usually do come true.

If he doesn't believe in the people's will but the direction of wise leaders, he has no reason to maintain his audience.  If he truly believes his own arguments, the first thing he should do is find someone wiser than him and entrust his audience over to them.  Once his ridiculous predictions fail to happen this fall, he'll have no choice but to admit the people chose wrongly (like always, according to both his and my reasoning).  So why not give someone else with a much better record of predictions like me a shot?

Surely Andrew Anglin has read my website, like every other famous far-right thinker has.  David Duke guest posted my column.  His own writers stole my Blacks Aren't Human phraseology.  He knows there's an alternative.  Once his predictions are laughed out of reality, will he have the humility to turn things over to me?  Or will he make some dumb excuse for all his bad decisions and continue clowning around, wasting his audience's time, forever?  Is he even on our side?
