Some good news for once. (I don't even want to look at the stock market anymore.) With the ending of the manga, (aside from some manga special that comes out this July that may not even be by the original author), a new anime film for the Kin-iro Mosaic franchise has been announced. I'm not sure if the film plans to adapt the ending, or be an entirely new filler film, but based on how good the Pretty Days ova was this will surely work out well.
A single film can't possibly adapt the rest of the manga so it appears this series will forever be incomplete. You'll have to read the manga for the second half of the story either way. The purchase of the about-to-be-released volume 10 is still advised.
However, the rules are that I can't put an anime franchise on my wishlist for a new anime project if it already has an announced new anime project upcoming, so I replaced my wish for more Kin-iro Mosaic with a wish for a wholly new Senren * Banka anime. This was such a great visual novel I don't see why it can't be adapted already.
Without March Madness there was no reason to delay my 19th re-read of '100 Waifus.' I've already caught some minor proofreading errors and edited them so already the wish to edit again has proven fruitful. Though obviously these sorts of corrections are nothing compared to whole new sections of text like Mumei's added spotlight scene. Maybe my 19th re-read will inspire a similar new burst of creativity, or maybe I'll just correct a few more silly mistakes. Either way the book is still as fun as ever.
I'm most of the way through my Kanata no Astra rewatch already. None of this would have been necessary if they'd just let the athletes play.
