My music hall of fame has expanded by 14 songs, all from Senren * Banka, 9 from the composers collectively known as 'Angel Note' and 5 from the composer that goes by 'Famishin.' The new total is 5471 songs lasting 12.4 days of continuous play.
For the details of the individual song names you can always check out https://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2019/08/good-music-part-1.html
The overall point is that Senren * Banka has amazing music. The traditional Japanese instruments and melodies are perfect for the setting and really create the entire game's atmosphere. The traditional Japanese clothes and architecture and even old fashioned dialect also all help, but it's the music that delivers in spades. Rarely do I listen to a visual novel's actual music during a game -- I quickly tire of it and put it on mute, listening to my music hall of fame on random instead. That isn't the case with stuff like Summer Pockets when Jun Maeda is composing -- but it also isn't the case here. I listened to Senren * Banka's soundtrack happily from beginning to end. And then I downloaded the soundtrack and have been listening to it after the game's ending too.
I've essentially finished Senren * Banka now. A few odds and ends are left to clean up but all the routes are done. But I'll never stop listening to this game's music. It's now a fixture of my music hall of fame, something for me to enjoy for the rest of my life.
I rewatched Grisaia: Phantom Trigger and eagerly await the new 3rd ova's completion that will continue the tale.
In '100 Waifus,' I corrected Suguha's term of endearment to 'Onii-chan' to fit her manner of speech in the source. The same for Aruru, I fixed her term to 'Oto-san' to match the source. I also changed a reference concerning cat ears to dog ears after discovering all 4 of the Utawarerumono waifus have canine ears of one sort or another. Is the entire world of Utawarerumono populated solely by dog girls? I'm not sure but certainly Eden is.
There were also some grammatical mistakes like mother's singular possessive being used when it should have been mothers' plural possessive. I also added Saigusa's beads to her hairstyle description. They're pretty vital to her character so it's malfeasance not to mention them. The edits are continuous and all of them indisputably helpful. The real question is how I missed these things the first 17 times.
The work continues apace. I'm sure there's still many more edits to go.
Tonikaku Kawaii is getting an anime. Since it's by the maker of Hayate no Gotoku I'm hyped.
