I've been on a crusade to replace composer names in my fictional character hall of fame in '100 Waifus' with actual fictional characters, but it was difficult coming up with good characters to replace them with, especially since I wanted to maintain the same gender balance. After a long brainstorming session, I came up with 14 adequate replacements:
Zack from Saved by the Bell, Marty from Back to the Future, Maverick from Top Gun, the T-800 from Terminator 2, Gemma and Luminary from Dragon Quest XI, Kanata from Kanata no Astra, Byakuya from Bloody Roar, Rory from Gilmore Girls, Rhett Butler from Gone With the Wind, Faldio from Valkyria Chronicles, Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, plus Harry and Hermione from Harry Potter.
This also allowed me to mention a lot of new praiseworthy artistic franchises I'd never gotten to praise before, which is sort of the whole point. I want to bring everything I like under the same tent and like it all at once for all the world to see. This book also serves as a go-to reference for all your entertainment needs.
Now the only remaining composers are super qualified Gods of music. Numbers 1-20 in my good music hall of fame, plus 22-24, 29, 31-32, and bringing up the rear #40. Of course, there may come a day when they're cut too, but at least they're perfectly respectable names already.
Meanwhile, the To Aru Dark Matter and Happy no Daibouken spinoff manga have both ended. Happy's manga hasn't been translated yet, though, so who knows when we'll see the ending.
Meanwhile, Magia Record is getting a 2nd season. That's nice.
