As always the blu-ray subtitled movie can be found at nyaa.si. It's nice for this to come out so promptly, the only problem is it wasn't a very good movie.
I suppose it was better than Precure Miracle Universe, but I expected more. The plot seemed to just ramble about randomly in order to create excuses for more song and dance routines. It felt like a movie that didn't need to be made, saying nothing in particular. Its only saving grace was how beautiful the background scenery and costumes were. Even the music was mediocre. This is still a must see movie, but compared to the original Love Live movie it's chopped liver.
That's one of the problems with Love Live Sunshine in general. It doesn't live up to the original no matter what it does.
If they do end up making a third Love Live series, I wonder if it will even live up to Sunshine. . .
Maybe it would be best if they stopped here, but I somehow suspect that won't happen. The franchise is still mega popular and would bring in mega bucks no matter what they did with the next installment, so inevitably it will be made.
Meanwhile, as expected Amagi Brilliant Park volume 6 is now available at nyaa.si. I'm still reading UchiMusume volume 8 so it'll be a while before I can get to it.
