Precure Super Stars and Futari wa Precure + Huggto Precure All Stars movies rewatched. Just 4 more movies to go. Liz to Aoi Tori, Broly, Nanoha Reflection and Non Non Biyori Vacation. Then I'll have rewatched everything not currently airing in my entire top anime rankings.
Though Super Stars had a few nice things going for it -- mainly whenever the Mahoutsukai Precure were on the scene -- the real jewel of these two is the Futari/Huggto crossover. This movie was so fantastic it made me cry even though I was seeing it for the second time -- twice!
From the tragicomical situation of dealing with all the babies at the beginning to the climactic ending where every Precure group gets their own theme music played, it's just an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. Nostalgia was above 1000%.
So long as Precure keeps on producing movies like this and series like Star Twinkle, its ranking can't help but rise. I want to see what happens with Star Twinkle and what comes next, but if it stays at this level Precure will at least reach #4. It could even become #1. (as it has been before. . .)
