After playing Valkyria Chronicles 4 I developed a deeper appreciation for its music, so it was time to expand its presence in my music hall of fame as well as enter it into my video game hall of fame.
The result was 19 additional songs, combined with my previous 6, for a total of 25 Valkyria Chronicles 4 themes. Unfortunately even this isn't what I hoped for. The 'music box' item you can get in game has a soundtrack of 50 songs, and even discounting the 17 songs I didn't want from that music box, that still should have been 33 songs. I'm missing 8 songs from my collection because I can't find them anywhere. They exist on the music box of the PS4 game, but nowhere online. They're really great songs too, maybe the best in the game. It's frustrating.
Still, 19 songs is a healthy addition to my total and I'm glad to have them on board. Hitoshi Sakimoto is now only 10 songs behind Yasunori Mitsuda in total songs contributed. Their rivalry continues.
The new total is 5410 songs, still 12.2 days in length.
