Tomomichi Nishimura:

Another seiyuu has been added to my anime voices hall of fame, yet again a boy, yet again for his excellent performance in Naruto.  This time it's the Tsuchikage, Ohnoki.  His old, gravelly, but somehow playful and confident voice is mesmerizing.  Every word he says tugs you in and makes you want to listen closely, because it must be very important given the way he's saying it.

This isn't Tomomichi's first rodeo.  In fact, he's been playing important roles since at least the 1970's.  He's as old as anime itself.  He's Mebius-sama, the main villain of the excellent Fresh Pretty Cure series.  He's Richard Mardukis, the second in command under Teletha Tessa Testorossa from Full Metal Panic!  He's everybody and everywhere, and always some cool old man acting officious and important.

Born in 1946, we probably won't be seeing Tomomichi much longer, so it's important to treasure him while we still can.
