By rewatching the Scarlet Spring and Mitsuki episodes that ran as part of the Bolt anime but were uniquely written by Kishimoto himself, I've now rewatched the entire canonical Naruto anime. My promise to both watch and rewatch all great anime has been fulfilled once more, this time on the rather prominent #3 best of all time. Perhaps it deserves to be #1? Well, we'll get to compare soon enough, since SAO and Fairy Tail resume airing in a couple weeks. It's my current supposition that the coming season of these franchises will blow Naruto out of the water and justify their higher rankings. If the rankings were just a snapshot of what's already come out Naruto would be #1, but my rankings take into account future releases as well.
Meanwhile, I added another permapost to my sidebar: http://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2015/09/refuting-liberals-favorite-arguments.html
This time I deconstruct the most central arguments of the other side. I think it's very persuasive, so I decided to feature it more prominently than heretofore.
I also added 'see also' links to my permapost about women: http://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2011/07/is-she-worth-it.html
These are meant to give people additional information related to the subject but not wholly parallel to it. They wouldn't make much sense as just an extension of the main essay, but I still think they're worth looking into as additional essays dealing with the same subject. The three additional essays can be found within the 'women' permapost, but I may as well just post them here as well: https://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2017/03/men-and-women-cant-be-friends.html, http://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2015/06/eroticism-isnt-innately-bad.html, https://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2011/04/stories-of-top-80-anime-clannad.html
I have a 'see also' list on my famous 'Blacks Aren't Human' permapost as well, so this is nothing new. If a subject is interesting enough it's possible to write more than one good article about it.
I've attached a similar in spirit '*see also' link to 'Beautiful White Girls' as well, which I may as well just link here while we're at it: https://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2009/11/wonders-of-modern-world.html
This is my 1820th post. 49 posts are included in my permapost sidebar, or as 'see also' links within said permaposts. That's a pretty elite cross-section. (The top 3%)
Virtually every useful thought I've had is contained within one of those 49 posts, so there's no real need to read all 1820. But I do think those 49 posts in particular are the finest literature around. Everyone in the world should read these posts and learn from them.
While I'm at it, perhaps I should offer all my remaining fiction novels for reading as well. . .
