I found 8 more remixes, all from Heroes of Might and Magic 5. Battle - Dungeon was a remix of credits. Main Menu 2, Main Theme, City Theme - Necropolis, and Terrain - Swamp were all remixes of City Theme - Haven. Campaign - Stronghold has a brief six note overlap with Siege - Stronghold. Campaign - Wizard overlaps with Combat - Wizard. And lastly, Battle - Neutral is note for note just an exact replica of Battle - Haven. They just gave the same song a different name and added it to the soundtrack. How infuriating. What a waste of my time. All the time I've been listening to both these songs thinking they were both good, touting both of them, what a fool it made of me.
Why do the makers of these soundtracks do this? Why would they so intentionally try to mislead their own listeners? If it's the same exact song why would you put it on your cd twice as two separate songs? Jesus Christ.
That reduces my music hall of fame to 4279 songs, and for the first time in a long time, 9.6 days of continuous playtime. By the time Xenoblade 2 comes out, I really will have shrunk my playlist down enough to fit it without any need for expansion.
