Translators have done two good deeds today. First, Junai Sensation's manga is being scanlated again, after a three year hiatus. This is one of many of my favorite manga that I can't actually read, so this is a huge plus. Since the manga ended ages ago, if the scanlation could just keep up the momentum, we might soon be able to read the whole thing.
Next off, Outbreak Company ended in Japan with volume 18 this August. Now the very first volume is finally being translated by a commercial company, J-Novel Club, to come out this November. The first four volumes are pointless because the anime already covers it, but from there on it's pure profit. I wish Outbreak Company had been fan translated for free like many other light novel series have been, but any translation is better than none. Two great franchises are finally coming over to the west.
In other news, Death March's anime is set to begin January 2018. We'll finally get to see what everyone's talking about.
Sadly, it's still a long wait until Little Busters! English Edition comes out. So for now, with Dal Segno out of the way, it's back to Muv-Luv Extra for at least a month. There's also 20+ Magic decks I've made changes to that still need playtesting, and plenty of Nanoha left to rewatch. But relatively speaking, October is going to be a placid month. No more good music is coming out, no more good games are coming out, and no more good visual novels are coming out. Manga has already been reduced down to a trickle as the industry shuts down, and the fall anime season is only looking to be decent at best. There don't even seem to be any light novels close to fully translated that might release in October. Zero no Tsukaima 21 if we're lucky, but I guess that's it.
In a month with so little upcoming news, I suspect I'll slow down my posting pace as well. 2017 has been busy, busy, busy, but it looks like that's no longer the case.
