Thanks to [bluraydesuyo], Koutestujou no Kabaneri is the latest bluray domino to fall. The remaining missing episodes, 9-12, were all released today in glorious fansubbed bluray. It's been exactly a year since Koutetsujou aired, so maybe people should wait a while before rewatching the show, but if you haven't seen this absolutely beautiful series, you'll definitely want to do so in bluray. Especially the first episode. By God Mumei is pretty. Mumei deserves bluray.
Meanwhile, Smile Precure was released in bluray, but it didn't really need the polish except for episodes 1-11, which had an annoying clock in the left corner. But by all means get rid of that clock by downloading the bluray for those eps.
Fresh Precure is also receiving a fansubbed bluray release -- just as soon as it's seeded, I think everyone should go ahead and ditch the old version for this new sharp clean bluray version. The major reason why is that the old version sometimes had video tearing/glitching at random moments, and surely a bluray release won't have that issue (though the Fairy Tail bluray release did have this issue at the exact moment Lisanna was killed, which was ungodly frustrating, so who knows. . .) There's also the fact that the lines seem less jagged and the colors more vibrant.
Other Pretty Cure seasons in need of a bluray release = Futari wa, Max Heart, Splash Star, and the non-720p portions of Yes and Go Go. It would sure be nice to see these old shows like how pretty they made Evangelion, Lodoss War and Cowboy Bebop.
