Ren'ai Karichaimashita fandiscs translated into English:

This has been a long time coming.  Nekonyan promised to translate these sequels 'eventually' ever since the hit visual novel came out, and now that eventually has arrived.

The first minidisk that was translated is about the girls I don't care about, so I'm not going to bother playing it.  I guess if I get desperate I could circle back to it someday.  But the second minidisk is about Hasumi, one of the greatest heroines in visual novel-dom.  And it came out today.  I still haven't finished Senmomo, Tenshin Ranman, or Limelight Lemonade Jam, and now this!

This has definitely become the year of visual novels.  So many are coming out simultaneously that all of 2026 will be required to play them through.

Speaking of Limelight Lemonade Jam, I added Miku to my wonderful characters list.  Her terse but sincere way of speaking is really endearing.  If she's mad at you she'll say so and she'll say why.  If she's happy with you she'll also say so and say why.  She's so easy to understand.  Add to that the fact that she's an imouto (though not Yukitaka's imouto) and wears twintails and the formula is complete.

To make room I cut Elincia, the pegasus knight princess from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance.  She's a pretty minor character from a pretty minor game, so the cut is affordable.  I actually really like Elincia, though, so it's a shame.

Two more Fire Emblem characters were cut, Ingrid and Petra, to make room for two new Heaven Burns Red characters -- Muua and Vritika.  Ingrid and Petra were pretty minor characters in Three Houses, and they seemed to be loyal to their house without actually thinking about right and wrong.  Muua and Vritika are more fleshed out characters, given more time, who face moral dilemmas and actually think about them.  It also helps that Muua is limit break level 3 and Vritika level 4, meaning they're some of my strongest pawns to work with in the game.

I also elevated 'Who made me a princess?' to great anime status, merging Miyuki with Touch to make room.  It can sit at rank #200 for now.  Actually, I don't plan on increasing the rank even when it's finished, given that I think it's worse than Kateikyoushi and Katei is ranked #187th.  That isn't much room to grow.  Maybe if they announce a second season for the show I'll change my opinion.

SAOAGGO volume 14 is also out in English, but not for free, so I'll wait and see for now.
