Hatsuyuki Sakura beaten:

It was a long road but I finally reached the end.  The Sakura route was pretty touching, the main heroine was so loving from childhood to the end of her life, it's a devotion we don't get to see very often in the real world.  Nevertheless, the fact that that devotion was directed at such a worthless jerk makes it all kinda pointless.  I get that he was raised by ghosts so he never learned manners, but why do I have to play as such an awful male?

The biggest problem in this game was the ghost ex machina.  Ghosts just randomly appear and control the flow of every social interaction.  I was so tired of the ghosts having any role in the game at all by the end, and the whole game is about ghosts.  Shirokuma was the cutest girl and they barely gave her any role at all.  Sigh.

It's a miracle I actually read this visual novel to the end, but I like to finish what I start.  A much more fun undertaking was rewatching Girls Band Cry.  It was my duty to do so as a newly ranked great series -- the rewatch is proof that it's good enough to not only watch but rewatch.  But it was also my pleasure because the story is intelligently, maturely written in such a way that you could really imagine these events happened and these people lived in modern Japan.  Such a grounded story that gets you to care about this world, here and now, no magic necessary.  All it took was good people overcoming their past trauma to work together to create good things.  And one of those good things was their love for each other.  It's amazing how this shitty world can be transformed into heaven with just a little love.  Don't take it from me -- take it from Nina.

Of course Nina will always be enshrined in Paradise because she's one of Christopher's daughters in '100 Waifus.'  It's where she belongs.  One of the best girls I've ever known.

Trump has fixed most of the major complaints I have with the USA -- the Covid-19 vaccine/mask mandates, the LGBT+ crap, the DEI/BLM crap, funding the Ukraine war, the illegal immigrant invasion, he's even tackling the endlessly spiraling debt.  And he's done it so amazingly quickly.  He never accomplished anything in his first term, but the country is totally different after just one month in his second term.  It's amazing what a difference surrounding yourself with allies instead of enemies makes.  This country was a nightmare hellscape for the past four years, but it's actually pretty nice right now.

Unfortunately that relief is only temporary.  The birth rate is still plummeting, as is the marriage rate.  Without pair bonding life is still an empty wasteland for most everyone.  Legal immigration is perfectly sufficient to swamp the USA with people of color, who are low IQ and high criminality, dooming us to a slum-like future.  The percentage of young people who say they're gay, even without it being publicly celebrated by the government, will only continue to rise.  The debt, likewise, is past the point of no return.  We spend more money just paying interest on the debt than our entire military.  Trump has done an amazing job working within the system, within what the Constitution and the brainwashed electorate allow.  I don't know if anyone could have done better or made America as nice as he has.  But this is the limit of democracy.  To actually make America a nice place to live not only now but in the future, my program of radical totalitarian change is still the only viable path.  It's been a fun month for all patriotic white Americans, but eventually we'll all wake up and realize none of the civilization destroying trends have actually reversed and everything is as slated to perish as it was under Biden.

It feels good to be validated though.  All the arguments I made against Ukraine, against the vaccines, against everything, are now arguments accepted by the general populace and most importantly by the people in power.  They all agree with me.  I won every argument.  They now admit everything I said was right, all long before they said it.  They admit I was the wisest man in the room.  I was a voice in the wilderness before, but now I'm their muse.

For now I'm content with that feeling of *winning* that Trump promised me all those years ago.  As for the future, I'll rely on Chinese scientists to invent world changing technology like fusion power or artificial intelligence or whatever, at which point the economy will never be a problem again -- and virtual girlfriends better than the real thing will become readily available in every corner store.  China isn't gay, it isn't black, its press isn't dominated by Jews, and half its college graduates are engineers.  Our culture is doomed, but there's isn't.  They could still save us all.
