Almost There:

The latest Heaven Burns Red update wasn't the continuation of the main story, but it made very clear that the next update would be.  Meanwhile I got to enjoy the sight of Yuki, Tama and Yuina in bathing suits alongside Ruka and Tsukasa in the bathing suits we've already seen.  The new summer flavor event was very welcome and hilarious.  Tama as usual was the best.  On top of that, Heaven gave out an amazing reward -- for the next ten days you get a free 10 memoria rolls, so overall 100 free new memorias, plus a guaranteed SS Memoria at the end of the ten day celebration.  And if you manage to sink 15,000 quartz into their campaign you get another free SS Memoria on top of the purchased memorias the quartz will get you.  Oh, and they're giving out free lifestones.  Heaven doesn't get much better than that.

Using all the new resources Heaven was giving out like candy, I managed to get my entire plot party up to their level 2 limit breaks.  Now everyone can reach max level, 150, though they haven't actually done so yet.  Once they reach their new max level they'll actually surpass my power party, and I'll be able to play with the characters the game intended for me to play and the story says I'm actually playing.

I'm also almost done with my 48th re-read of '100 Waifus.'  There are two reasons I had to re-read the book:

1)  After editing Sophie's last name from Lamb to 'Lhant,' her official canon last name, I figured 'in for a penny, in for a pound.'  After all, I was going to have to order a new paperback copy of the book anyway, since the current one was wrong and obsolete, so I may as well edit anything else I could improve too before I ordered a new paperback.  This turned out to not be an issue, though, as I only found a comma to delete and a couple adjectives and a noun to replace with more fitting terms in the entire book.  That's so much of a nothingburger I continue to believe this is a 're-read,' not a 're-edit,' of the book.

2) I had always promised to keep rereading the book until I no longer found any errors to correct.  Sophie's last name was an error, so in order to keep my promise I had to read the book again.  If I don't find any additional errors in the next 9 chapters I'll be able to keep my promise and officially proclaim the book finished.

I'll read the book for the 49th time someday down the road, just so I can experience the correct name 'Sophie Lhant' in paperback when I read the book next time, but I'm satiated with this read for at least a good while.

Speaking of fulfilling promises, I continued to fulfill my promise to rewatch all great anime by rewatching the rest of Wonderful Precure and Idolm@ster Shiny Colors Season 2.  There's still a lot of great anime I'm required to rewatch, but I'll get around to all of them sooner or later.  I haven't forgotten my vow.  The Wonderful Precure movie wasn't great so I don't have to rewatch it.

One Pace has almost finished compressing the Skypiea arc into its rightful form.  Once it finishes that there will only be Wano left to compress, but thankfully some other stranger made a compressed version of the Wano arc so basically One Pace will be complete with Skypiea.  This project certainly was a long time coming but the reward is enormous.  A watchable version of the #2 best anime ever made?  That's work worth doing.

Overall there isn't much slated for release, anime wise, in 2025.  The new seasons of Sousou no Frieren and Oshi no Ko are slated for 2026.  I'm not sure if 2025 will deliver a single conclusive conclusion to any of my top 200 franchises.  At least Summer Pockets is debuting in April.

Our only hope is the visual novel translators get their act together and release Rewrite Harvest Festa, Kud Wafter, Akaneiro no Somaru Saka and Majikoi A+ this year, finally bringing four vital franchises to a proper conclusion.  If visual novels do their job 2025 will be amazing regardless of what anime does or doesn't do.
