Top Gun 2 watched:

This was a decent movie with some good jokes and good action, most importantly no offensive liberalism was injected into the movie.  Nothing about gays, women or minorities, a movie purely about getting the job done through merit.  Unfortunately there was nothing special or stirring about the film, so it doesn't make my top 200 movie hall of fame list.  It also leaned too much on nostalgia, copying scenes from the first film to get people excited, but by doing so never producing any new art of their own.

I've played a fair ways into Triangle Strategy and it's fun, but the gameplay is very messy.  Unlike Fire Emblem there's no way to take out the enemy without getting hit and losing units yourself.  You just dive into a scrum and hope for the best.  The graphics and music are no match for Fire Emblem either.  There's nothing that measures up to Fire Emblem.  The plot and characters aren't nearly as engaging either.  The setting is less immersive and feels less real than Fire Emblem.  This is the problem with switching from playing what could well be the best game ever made to an average game.  Triangle Strategy isn't bad, it is fun, I am playing it.  But every second I play it I'm thinking, man, Fire Emblem did this so much better.  Just as Top Gun 2 is watchable but not hall of fame material, Triangle Strategy is playable but not hall of fame material.

The second cour of Cue! has been bland and uninspiring.  It's following the side characters I never cared about doing uninteresting things and worried about unimportant things.  I rated Cue! #141 on a guesstimate that the future eps would be as good as the early ones, but that hasn't turned out to be the case.  If it stays at this level I'll rate Cue! at the bottom of my rankings and hope to find a replacement for it in key's newest work Prima Dolls or whatever else strikes my eye.  It would also help '100 Waifus' if I could replace Haruna, a doubled up name, with a new unique name in my fictional character hall of fame.  With one more unique name I could get to a nice round number of 800. . .
