This was a good novel, and quite short, so I read it all in one sitting. I'm glad Itsuki and Nayuta made up and got back together. I like romances that work, not the real world where they all fail miserably. The other characters all got good scenes that move things along for them. And it's nice that when Itsuki was asked to think up the perfect name for his new little sister he chose Shiori. I also chose Shiori, as a writer, to be the protagonist of my Japanese-themed series (Dead Enders - Choice Givers - Followers and Emulators). I pored over all the most common names in Japan and decided Shiori was the most heroic and beautiful, the name that could carry a series on her shoulders. So for Itsuki and by default the author of this series, Yomi Hirasaka, to concur with my opinion is always gratifying.
This is the second time Yomi Hirasaka and my opinions have completely overlapped. It was Yomi Hirasaka who decided to include the lyrics to Haganai's anime opening within Haganai's last book, and it was also my decision to include those very lyrics at the end of my book, '100 Waifus.' It's strange how we end up agreeing on everything.
There are only two volumes of this series left to go. I hope they're translated soon because I want to see the ending and I want something less tedious than Fire Emblem to do. It sucks that the book I've been waiting for for so long can be finished so quickly. What am I supposed to do with the rest of the month? Well, there is that Obi-Wan tv series coming out soon, and I already preordered the next Xanth book that should come out in a week, but still. . .
