Ai Edits:

Now that I possess books 4-14 of Ryuuou no Oshigoto, (I bought volume 14 from Bookwalker), a couple things have become clear to me -- Ai doesn't refer to herself in the third person while talking, as cute as that is, so I had to edit my book to fit her normal speaking style.  In addition, Ai doesn't stay 9 years old throughout the series, she's at least 11 by volume 14.  So I fixed her age to be 9-11, not just 9.  For all I know by book 15 she could be 12 or more, in which case I'll have to edit '100 Waifus' again.

These emergency edits I can do right now, since they're solid facts.  But later, when I've actually read all these volumes, I might do more edits relying on my newfound knowledge of Ai's persona.  I have so much more to learn about Ai than the anime portrayed.

I've also discovered that the 12 episode anime somehow (I know not how) covered the first five volumes of the light novels.  Which means there's no point reading the series until book 6.  How on Earth did a 12 episode anime cover 5 light novels?  That remains a mystery, but wherever I did read in the earlier volumes I did get the nostalgic sense of remembering where that happened in the anime, so. . .I guess it was just a really good adaption.

Now that I've found my bearings I'm finally working on the correct volume, volume 6 of the series.  I have nine Ryuuou light novels to read between now and the Olympics.  While reading I can also listen to Octopath's music as I continue to march towards that 80-listen minimum.  This is going to be a very busy, very productive month.
