Over at Nyaa.si there's a New Game!! torrent not labeled specifically 'season 2' and not specifically labeled 'blu-ray,' or 'bd'. Nevertheless, if you look at the details of the torrent, it is season 2 and it is blu-ray. Finally. After Doki Fansubs dropped the ball and never released a blu-ray version, some anonymous stranger has been kind enough to finish the job.
It only took, what, 3 years?
I've already rewatched the series, having despaired of it ever coming out in blu-ray, but I guess this means I can rewatch it again someday to some benefit.
For those who haven't watched the series at all yet now is the time to dive in.
Meanwhile, I notice Timothy Zahn has come out with a new Thrawn Star Wars book. It's a little expensive but Zahn's Star Wars stories are the best. Also there's a new book by Robert Jordan of all people, despite being long dead. It appears to be an unpublished story dug up from the past. Warrior of the Altaii? Something like that. Anyway, definitely worth looking into.
So many worthwhile things to do. The Playoffs are in full swing and the first two games were nail-biters, just the way viewers like them.
Madoka Magica Gaiden - Magia Record started off really well. It captured the mood perfectly, the eerie music and art style, it felt like I was right there back again with the original series. If this keeps up it'll count towards the original's greatness.
There's only been good news since the start of the decade!
