Armin and Erwin from Shingeki no Kyojin leave a stronger, more heroic impression on me than Balthier and Atsushi do from FF 12 and Q and A. FF 12 was such a bad game I didn't even finish playing it, so Balthier is someone I barely even know. As for Q and A I only remember the protagonist fuzzily as a guy who made some great wisecracks. Compared to Armin's inspiration and Erwin's determination that's nothing.
As I'm rewatching the 2nd cour of S3 of Shingeki my admiration for both of these supporting characters keeps rising. In the end, Shingeki no Kyojin is a masterpiece and Q and A isn't. With more honorable fictional characters honored '100 Waifus' becomes that little bit better.
Meanwhile, I finished rewatching Star Twinkle Precure just a couple days after it finished airing. I've been timing it so that my rewatch would catch up to my regular watch at the final moment. One more great series watched and rewatched as promised.
I also rewatched the Youjo Senki movie, striking that off my list. I'm nearly out of things to rewatch available in blu-ray. It doesn't feel like fansubbers are very interested in fansubbing anything these days, blu-ray or otherwise. Fate Kaleid Liner's ova still remains unsubbed.
