It's basically December, which means we're just one month away from the new anime season. What is there to look forward to this time around, in the bright new dawn of 2017?

If even one new show works out that will be as large a viewing schedule as the current fall lineup. Then again, all nine shows currently airing are great anime, whereas Konosuba and Chaos;Child are only good anime, so we could easily see a large dip in overall quality from this fall to next winter. That's okay, 2016 was an exceptionally good year in anime, we shouldn't be expecting 2017 to match it. So long as 2017 provides something of worth each season, it will have done enough to keep the industry rolling.
