I'm viscerally opposed to sadistic protagonists. People should not delight in cruelty and the suffering of others. It appears all of the characters in Joker Game get their kicks out of seeing other people squirm, so that rules out the whole show.
It's not unusual to see my anime watch list go down over the course of the season. This is just the first casualty. But with Big Order debuting shortly, the spring season is still looking healthy overall.
