The Top 156 Anime:

The truth is, after all that 'Lost World' anime watching, combined with all the new series from the fall season, I'm just barely below the threshold of expanding my rankings from 150 to 160.  Since I keep mentioning series that 'should' be in my rankings and 'will' be in my rankings soon, I figure I should just eliminate all the frustration and add them officially already.  However, the rules are the rules.  Until I actually do reach at least three episodes watched of 480 franchises, I can't expand to a top 160.  In that case, it's best to compromise!  My watched list is more than large enough to accommodate an expansion of my rankings from 150 to 156.  Then, when I gain the last few series necessary to expand yet again, I can make the remaining transition up to the grand total of 160, probably a month from now.  As I haven't actually seen these new six series in full, they will also be put in a preliminary spot at the bottom of the list.  I'll deal with where they should 'properly' be once I've watched everything fully, the important thing is just to do them justice by putting them on the radar for now.  Like usual, Gundam is ceremonial and always brings up the tail of the beast.

There!  That's a refreshing feeling.  Now every series that deserves a ranking right now gets one, while those who are still debatable cases can wait for next time.  My first impressions on these six new additions are scattered throughout my recent previous posts, so you can chart how I came to like them to this degree easily enough with a bit of sleuthing.

Next up, I'll add these series to my 'rankings + voices' post to show off the great voice talent I found in these series.  Especially for Tales of 'x' and Prism Ark, the seiyuu to these 'final 6' shows is stupendous, and half the reason I decided to rank them in the first place.
