The newly sorted top anime rankings can be found here: https://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2013/07/top-anime-rankings.html
For people who want every last detail, that's the resource to check. But for a synopsis of my most important changes, I'd say Summer Pockets, now that it's a completed story, moved up from #200 to #114. Kojou Denka no Kateikyoshi likewise went up from #199 to #187. The biggest improvement was Oshi no Ko, moving all the way up to #29. This is all based on the premise that the anime will cover the entire manga, but I think that's a safe bet to make considering how popular the anime is.
Thanks to how good the Kimetsu movie was, I moved it up to #6 in my rankings. Thanks to how bad Dragon Ball Daima was I dropped the series as a whole down to #10. One Piece went up to #1 because One Pace has successfully abridged the entire series, and because Fairy Tail failed to completely cover the 100 Year Quest manga. Fairy Tail dropped down to #2 as a result.
Bakemonogatari dropped to #20 because the anime failed to cover the whole Off & Monster books like I expected they would.
Uma Musume dropped to #14 because Cinderella Gray wasn't as good as I expected it would be. Princess Principal dropped down to a more reasonable #48 on account of how short it is. Likewise, Kanon dropped down to #37. 24 ep series really struggle to compete at the highest level.
Edens Zero dropped down to #90 because it didn't get the Season 3 announcement I expected it would have by now.
Angel Beats dropped down to #99 because it's too short and the story is far too random and disjointed. You would think a 12-ep series would be a little more cohesive, but nope, it jumps around even then.
Miyuki dropped down to #200 because it's a little too old to take seriously. Miyuki would be on the chopping block once Mao is introduced in 2026, but I have a solution for that. Miyuki will just join the larger Touch franchise at that time, since Ryuichi from Miyuki eventually shows up in Mix. Eventually I can add H2 to Touch and even Cross Game as well to free up additional slots, since the baseball schools are mentioned in each others' shows.
It's been over a year since I made a major edit to my top anime rankings. A lot changed, but not by wide margins. I was basically right about most shows. It's a lot of work adjusting my rankings, so hopefully I won't have to mess with them for another couple years from here. If everything remains close to right it won't be worth fiddling with the numbers. Like how there's no point editing '100 Waifus' over small things anymore, I'll leave my top anime rankings alone unless something dramatic changes my mind.
The top 20 anime are really what matter, so I suppose I'll at least reveal them in full within this post:
