Over at nyaa.si [Ember] has released a full batch of Shiroi Suna in bluray out of the blue. The filesize is less than the original streaming files so it sounds crazy for this to be the bluray version, but looking at the episodes directly I see no loss in quality so [Ember] should be celebrated for making such harddrive-friendly versions.
On the other hand Edens Zero recently came out with a full bluray batch as well, but each individual file was the size of a movie, 3 gigabytes. With such bloated filesize your entire monthly bandwidth budget would be exhausted and your hard drive would be creaking at the seams. Maybe if you were only a fan of Edens Zero and didn't want to download anything else on Earth this would make sense, but most of us live in the real world and filesizes like this are impermissible.
I defeated the Alliance storyline in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The only arc left is Silver Snow. For this last run I wanted to recruit everyone, see all their interactive skits, complete all the paralogues, and feel like I've really completed the game 100%. A game this good, you don't want to leave content you could have played unplayed. Unfortunately this does require I stretch my resources thinner than ever before. I have to arm and train way more people than I'm used to, so I'm short on battalions, gold, renown, instruction time, everything. I assume I'll make do somehow or other, but it's yet again more challenging than anything that came before.
I'm finally caught up on the Fate/Kaleid Liner movie and the Madoka Magica Gaiden series. But Fire Emblem is taking such a giant chunk of my time that I still haven't read my Another Wish manga volume or my Parchment & Wolf novel. Ordinarily this would be the time I start rewatching Shiroi Suna in bluray to validate its placement in my rankings but that will have to wait indefinitely due to the traffic jam.
Kimi ni Todoke: Soulmate is ending in Japan this May. However, America hasn't translated the latest chapters for eight months now so we'll likely never get to see the ending. How typical.
Chihayafuru's ending has been delayed but will still end within the year. I'm looking forward to another ending of another ridiculously long series.
