Only the prologue and first two routes of Aiyoku no Eustia have been translated and released in a partial patch, so I can't say for sure the quality of all the characters in the story, but I can tell already that Caim, Eustia and Sieg are special. Nothing that happens after this point is going to change my minds about them, so I may as well add them to my fictional character hall of fame within my '100 Waifus' book already.
They replace the underperforming side characters from Hibike! Euphonium who are admittedly beautiful but barely get any screen time -- Sapphire, Yuko and Natsuko.
In addition, I felt Mao, the main character of Mao, was a more central and memorable figure than Grey, just one of hundreds of characters in the vast Xanth pantheon, so I substituted Mao in as well.
All the supplementary edits necessary for these name changes were undertaken as well. '100 Waifus' should now be in tip-top shape and ready for reading.
I've finished the Aiyoku no Eustia available and am now longing for the continuation alongside everybody else. The ending song, "Close my Eyes", was good enough that I instantly added it to my music hall of fame and then listened to it 106 times straight to instantly prove its full worth. Back to 5457 songs in total.
