The first of supposedly six Princess Principal movies is now available fansubbed. I saw no problems with the video or translation, a fine release even if it isn't blu-ray. The episode felt a little episodic, we met someone we'd never heard of before, and then he disappeared at the end of the episode, so he has no future relevance either. It leaves an empty taste in the mouth, but it still had some nice characterization of Ange and some fun car chase scenes. A welcome addition to the canon.
I wonder if Princess Principal is going to release a movie every year all the way to 2026. Well, the more the merrier, however long it takes. Very much like Girls und Panzer.
