I have so much to do right now -- March Madness, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the end of the winter season's anime, that I don't know when I'll be able to read this book, but the good news is it exists. Parchment and Wolf is generally better than Spice and Wolf and Myuri is very cute. The book can be found at nyaa.si or I guess bought fairly.
Fire Emblem for Switch is a masterpiece, combining slice of life chatting with your students at a monastery and tactical war games on a map where you can show off your clever planning for how to develop your students into the ultimate war-fighting team. All the slice of life stuff lets you bond with the characters and turns them into real people, not 'mage unit A,' or 'swordsman unit B'. Valkyria Chronicles 4 also interspersed slice of life skits with commanding your army to victory, but Three Houses is much bigger, has more students and more chatting, such that the game can be played profitably for much longer. It's been much more fun than Bravely Default II was. (Though Bravely Default II did have better music.)
In other good news, a release date has been scheduled for The Eminence in Shadow (October 2022), Prince of Tennis World Cup (July 2022), and Luminous Witches (July 2022). Unlike the spring season which is going to be pretty sparse, the summer and fall 2022 anime seasons are going to be jampacked with great stuff.
Shikkakumon had a perfectly good season, but an unsatisfactory 'ending' that resolved nothing. I added a second season to my anime wishlist now that the series is over and didn't immediately announce one.
