Lazarus and Zatsu Tabi dropped:

The spring season is shrinking quickly.  The second episodes of Lazarus and Zatsu Tabi were unacceptably bad for very different reasons --  Lazarus was way too violent.  People were immediately trying to kill each other, or threatening to kill each other, for no reason, without even knowing who the other person was.  People don't risk their lives for no reason, it was ridiculous.  For that matter the world's population wouldn't have all taken pain killers in the last 3 years, plenty of people have no major aches or pains for three year stretches, especially young people, so this hapna world crisis isn't even a big deal.  On top of that saying the Arctic is going to melt in 3 years is ridiculous, it's nowhere close to true.  As for Zatsu Tabi it was just too pointless and boring.  Why should I watch this random girl wander around Japan, see the sights, ride trains, and eat various meals?  What's in it for me?  What can I learn about life from watching this?

I'd much rather be focusing on great art, which in this case means Tenshi Souzou Reboot.  I've added it to my great visual novel Hall of Fame and added two characters from it to my wonderful fictional characters hall of fame.  Noa (the blue-eyed, blonde-haired, white-clad and white-winged angel) and Amane (the cute vampire imouto).  It's obvious just from their descriptions what's great about them.

If I had only known about Noa earlier she would have made a great daughter for Cute.  *Sigh*  Too late now.  Well, maybe if I come across other things to edit I can sneak her in too. . .

I kicked Summer Pockets out of my visual novel hall of fame to make room on the basis that the visual novel is no longer necessary because there's an anime out now.

Noa received The Man with the Machine Gun as her theme song, and Amane received Kojou.  Both are iconic Final Fantasy songs that it's hard to believe hadn't been incorporated yet.  Thank goodness for Noa and Amane because these are songs that shouldn't go to waste.

I still have a lot more of Tenshi Souzou to play but I'm already confident in its quality.

P.S.:  Konomi from To Heart 2 is also wonderful.  Super cute childhood friend packed full of love, what more could you ask for?  Konomi gets Kaosu no Shinten, another beautiful Final Fantasy 1 song.
