I chose the wrong time to adjust my rankings. With this season 2 announcement my ranking of Vinland Saga was far too low. So I decided to change my rankings again, since I didn't want Vinland to sit around at an unfair spot for months and months. Now Vinland Saga is #94, and everyone else is down a rank to make room.
Because Vinland Saga is a very long manga, even a second season, which I assume will be 24 episodes like the first, won't be nearly enough to cover the story. Actually the story is still ongoing so it's impossible to cover the story. Due to that getting higher than #94 will be difficult. It's still an incomplete story in the end.
The material being covered this coming season is great, better than the stuff from the 1st season. Combined with the excellent animation we saw from the first season this will be something special.
Vinland Saga was on my anime wishlist, but now that wish has been fulfilled. So the new entry for the freed up spot is a wish for a remake of Mujaki no Rakuen and its sequel I'm Not a Lolicon. This is one wish that will definitely never be fulfilled, since censorship would never let it air. But it is the best anime that could be made that hasn't been made left. One can always dream.
