There were some great loli-based jokes in this volume as well. I especially like when Yaichi had a dream where he stated that now that he'd been promoted to C-1 rank he'd be allowed to marry as many wives as he wanted.
However, most of the volume wasn't about young girls but old men. Really old men. It went on and on about how old men could use grit and wile to overcome the actual merit of their young competition. I wouldn't know anything about that, so I couldn't relate at all. It all seemed like a waste of time talking about meaningless side characters who don't matter.
I suppose there is an audience that might appreciate this theme somewhere or other. I think it's sad that the author of the book noted in the afterword that he's a lifelong bachelor, raised by a single mother who's now dead. Even though he's rich, famous, and has won multiple prestigious awards for his books no one loves him. That's absurd. Well, at least I love him for giving the world Ai Hinatsuru. For what it's worth. But this just goes to show how worthless women are. A gem like this and no one takes him, objectively proven to be the best mankind has to offer -- but every single George Floyd or Jacob Blake or whoever has ten kids. I am so sick of women determining who wins and loses at life because every decision they ever make is grotesquely, obscenely wrong. Never mind giving women the vote, the really stupid thing was giving women the right to choose their husbands. Hell, the first mistake was freeing them from slavery. In the olden days women captured as bounty were distributed as rewards by the tribal chieftain to the men of the tribe who contributed most to the tribe. They were living gold. It was merit based, eugenic, and promoted prosocial behavior.
Now who do the women reward? The dysgenic, antisocial, most worthless dregs of mankind. Criminals reproduce the most and PhD's the least. So now we have one of the top 100 authors in the history of mankind a lifelong bachelor. Congratulations.
Meanwhile, I've also gotten all 34 of my new songs to the 80-playthrough floor of my music hall of fame. Now that everybody is up to speed I can aim for the 100-playthrough summit which will signal every song's true graduation day. With the help of more Ryuuou books I can listen to as much music in the background as I want.
In addition, an entire new volume worth of New Game chapters were released at mangakakalot. Ai isn't the only waifu I got to read up on today, Aoba also got her time to shine. Of course the new chapters were good, but they all played out about the way you'd expect them to, so there was nothing to learn from them.
