Myriad Souls dies:

On the 81st playthrough I decided there were a lot of creepy and odd sounds bundled together and deemed a song, 'Myriad Souls' by Junichi Nakatsuru, but it certainly shouldn't be a song in my music hall of fame.  That brings my collection down to 5484 and only 12.4 days of continuous playtime yet again.

Junichi now has 112 songs to his credit, only 2 above Naoshi Mizuta, so it's possible the two could flip positions somewhere down the line.  They're in a death struggle very much like Yasunori and Hitoshi.

Index GT 4 has been translated up to chapter 4, the final chapter of the book, but each chapter is quite long so that's still a lot missing.  It's been a good read so far but it feels rather pointless.  This gets us no closer to Misaka and Touma living happily ever after, so really why even write it?  This author writes so much to so little effect.

I really will breach the 200 hour barrier with Xenoblade Chronicles 2.  The game is enormous.  I'm on the final chapter (10) and could probably end the game quickly, but I'm still missing 3 blades and haven't filled out the affinity grids of most of the blades I do have.  With so much of the content of the game still incomplete how can I go finish off the last boss?  It would be a waste.  This game is very impressive.  It's earned its spot in my fictional character hall of fame (embedded within '100 Waifus') and the video game hall of fame (listed as 'Xeno,' which includes Xenogears, Xenosaga and Xenoblade).  It's definitely a must-play game, and not only for the music.  XC 2 is better than XC 1 in virtually every way.

I wish the game were easier -- I wish it was easier to find out where to get necessary items or how to reach various destinations.  I wish it were easier to acquire rare blades.  I wish everything in the game didn't take so much time.  But those are minor complaints.  Overall it's been entertaining all 200 hours which is a remarkable feat for a game with a plot.  You really can't ask for more bang for your buck.

Apparently Bill Gates had been up to no good things while married, but it's still repugnant that a woman with no qualifications and no effort can get billions of dollars in a divorce.  Melinda is still symptomatic of a dumb marriage system.  Even if Bill Gates had been clean as a whistle, no-fault divorce means she can steal all his money whenever she wants.  His having cheated on her or not makes no difference.  That's absurd and still needs to be changed.

Wake Up, Girls! Shin Sho now has a blu-ray release over at nyaa.si.  I don't know why it came out now after so many years but it does give the series a second chance at greatness.  If I end up liking the blu-ray release on the third rewatch it can still reach my rankings.
